1971 Cadillac Coupe Deville
Has brand new 22″ tires on Layton Wire Wheels.
Wire Wheels have been painted black, due to peeling chrome.
This is a project car, but lets be clear about a few things. It runs and drives, It stops, i have keys for the igniton and trunk, but no door keys, but new keys and locks are included with the car. The windshield is cracked and it has a small spot of rust on the pass side rear lower quarter. Thats the only rust i can find on the car anywhere.
Engine Runs well, but needs a tuneup or a carb adjustment to maximize its performance
Power Steering leaks down after a week or so, just refill it and its fine for a bit
Transmission leaks out of rear output seal, but hold fluid for a week or so.
New battery, new seat cover.
Front seat is worn out, as is drivers door panel. other then that interior is MINT! Rear seat has a small stain, but could be cleaned, headliner is perfect! sunvisors are perfect, dash is great. steering wheel has cracks. Has a total of 107k miles.
To make this a daily driver, literally, redo the seat, and door panel, fix a few small mechanical issues and replace the front glass and drive it
Its a COUPE DEVILLE!
if you dont like the 22’s sell them and use the factory hubcaps that are in the trunk and throw some steel wheels on her and go that route!
Windows want to work, I only moved them about an inch down and then back up to prevent any other issues, the door panels need to be taken off, and everything greased and lubed when you change the door locks.
Car was painted once in its life, and the job is very presentable. The car can use a buff and polish, but its also a survivor!
