Nice Caddy convertible in need of TLC. Recently got four new tires and a rebuilt carburetor. It’s been sitting for almost a year in storage so it needs a few things before getting on the road. Brakes need to be checked as the pedal has gotten stiff, may need a booster. The exhaust is becoming a bit loud, I was told the “donut” gasket needs replaced where the y-pipe connects. It could use a tuneup as well, I moved it recently  and it took awhile for the engine to smooth out. The paint is original and looks ok, she’s a “ten footer”. The chrome is dull in spots and showing pitting and surface rust, otherwise the bumpers are straight with no dents or scratches. There’s some old bodywork visible at the edge of the trunk lid and at the bottom of the front fenders behind the front wheels, otherwise the frame and floors are solid. The car is very straight, everything lines up and the doors close easily. The A/C compressor turns on but doesn’t blow cold. No leaks from anywhere, no engine noises, shifts easily and accelerates well. The top was replaced about 15 years ago with a glass back window, the window needs reglued at bottom as it began separating the last time the top was operated. The interior overall is in very good condition, seats are nice and wood on doors and dash still looks good. Seat motor is not working, may be power issue as the relays don’t click. Radio will work if volume and station knobs are turned repeately, seems like dirty contacts. The horn works, the wipers can be sticky, one of the rear windows will work only from the rear switch and the driver’s window needs help going back up as does the power top. Overall typical issues of an old car that’s been “sitting”.
