1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible – Stunning Car – A/C – Low Miles!

Here is a very rare 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible in beautiful condition inside and out. This is a unique opportunity to own one of the last few, truly unmolested ‘60 Eldorado’s on the road. We sold this car to a local gentleman in early November of last year. I personally delivered it to his classic car storage facility where it has sat and was never driven since. Right after he purchased the car he had major health issues that have not gotten better so he just asked us to sell the car for him. Prior to him we acquired this car from a 85-year-old gentleman in Long Beach, CA who has owned the car since 1979. It still has its California pink slip and California blue plates. Plus this is the first time this car has been available to the public for purchase in over 43 years. The car has only 70k original miles on it and it runs and drives as a clean, original unmolested car should. It would be hard to find another like this one!

It was ordered from the factory in one of the prettiest color combinations available, Olympic White with a red leather interior and white soft top. The car was also ordered fully loaded from the factory with air conditioning, cruise control, power everything, and more. It is mostly original and has received some light cosmetic restoration over the years. This includes one beautiful repaint in its original color, some interior restoration, a newer white soft top, and some other miscellaneous items to keep the car looking spectacular!

Here is some background on the Eldorado Biarritz. It was Cadillac’s finest and most luxurious model you could purchase in 1960. This is one of only 1,285 convertibles built in 1960. They came from the factory with a 390ci Tri-Power engine, special body trim, special hubcaps, special interior trim and leather, and a three-piece parade boot. It was one of the most beautiful Cadillacs ever made and is desired by collectors all over the world!

The paint is in excellent condition & shows wonderfully. It was a base clear coat that was rubbed to a smooth glass finish. Only 4 or 5 very small chips touched up shown in the video and hardly noticeable.

The body is straight as an arrow with perfect body lines and gaps

The underside appears to be solid and original with no undercoating.

The chrome and trim show beautifully. Appears to be mostly original.

The Interior is in excellent condition throughout. The carpet has been replaced. The correct leather shows wonderfully. It is soft and supple with the correct eldorado grain. Light wear/patina on driver’s seat

The dash pad, steering wheel, interior chrome, and gauge cluster are all in spectacular original condition.

Everything is in working order which included the radio, power antenna, power windows, power seat, power locks, power top, gauges, lights, interior lights, clock

In full transparency, I have not tried the automatic eye or cruise control.

Under the hood is clean and original as you would expect from such a low mileage car and it shows wonderfully.

Mechanically, it does not appear to need anything. The car runs and drives smoothly as a nice low-mileage Caddy should.

The air conditioning is 100% complete but is not blowing cold and need to be serviced.

Factory air ride was converted to springs years ago like most Eldorado’s.

I would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere.
